WHAT DO 007, ROAD RUNNER ("BEEP BEEP") AND KING OF THE ROAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Answer: They are all diecast collectibles you can look forward to adding to your collection in the near future. Reserve now on Legacy Motors and you'll get free shipping.

What Aston Martin will 007 drive in the upcoming Casino Royale blockbuster? Why, the 2006 Aston Martin DBS that Ertl is modeling for us in 1:18. If you want to see the real thing, Click Here. What hyper tech weaponry has Q put into this Bond car?

Franklin Mint has come out with a really limited limited edition of their 1971 Plymouth Road Runner. Only 500 to be made! This one features a 426 Hemi and a torrid "Tor Red" color scheme.

Misty Turquoise is coming in November. No, it's not wearing clear heels! It's the color of GMP's 1970 Chevelle SS 454 that will arrive with all the fixins'. Rare factory 4 speed and console delete; SS option trim, bucket seats, raised white letter tires with 5 spoke SS sport wheels and fully detailed undercarriage.

Lane is also thinking blue, this one a vivid blue -- Acapulco Blue for its latest 1968 Shelby GT500 KR. Coming any day.

The wait is over for the RED Ferrari Testarossa from Mattel Hot Wheels Elite division. Or if you prefer: Nurburgring SILVER.

AUTOART DELIVERS GERMAN FIRE & ICE PLUS SHELBY 2007
Here's your chance to add Mercedes "stroke 8" crisp elegance to your collection! AUTOart has sent us a choice of two 220D Limousines and any day now we expect the 280C coupe! Timeless and classic beauty.

From same era, also German, but surrounded by spoilers: AUTOart's splendid '73 BMW 3.0 CSL. This is the first of five straight Spa Winners for BMW.

Add to your open wheel collection with a masterful '72 McLaren M16B Indy contender, this one piloted by Gary Bettenhausen. Carousel 1 is the master.

Rated at 500 horses, the 2007 Shelby GT500 is the most powerful factory-produced Ford Mustang ever. It's a jaw-dropper, bulging in 1:18 detail.

Let us send you Mattel's super duper Ferrari Superamerica, the convertible Berlinetta version of the 575M Maranello. It's the Ferrari you read about with the electrochromic glass panel roof which rotates 180° at the rear to lay flat over the boot. You won't see many being driven around your town, I'm guessing.

FEAST FOR COLLECTORS: SCALE MODEL EXTRAVAGANZA
Legacy Motors has been busy, busy, busy taking in all the models that have been released.

From Lane come two great 1:18 contenders. Flames abound in a 1965 Chevy El Camino, an LE of only 996. Wimbledon White doesn't make their 1968 Shelby GT500KR look chaste at all, just superior.

Legacy Motors has received GMP's very limited re-issue of the previously sold out Tommy Ivo Four Engine Dragster. Only 1000. Read Bill Bennett's insightful review! Also ready to ship is the just arrived new tooling by Highway 61 of the super cool 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88, in 3 ideal color versions. Do you miss Oldsmobiles?

Ready for 'Vettes? Franklin Mint has brought us new tooling in a 1:24 1971 Corvette T-top coupe. Fabulous in fiberglass, the color is one of the 3 Firemist versions: War Bonnet Yellow. Tony Perrone, resident Corvette guru, praises this model as a "dandy."

In "Polo Green II Metallic" with striking beige interior, Legacy has Franklin Mint's 1993 Corvette with ZR-1 package. Tony notes there has been considerable refining over earlier version, especially in badging and emblems. See his pix!

For 1:18 collectors, Legacy has a few left of AUTOart's flawless 1959 Chevrolet Corvette in Roman Red.

Back to Franklin Mint. While DM and WCPD have explored much of the Impala line, only FM has replicated the 1963. The latest release is a 1963 Impala Coupe in Riverside Red. Only this and the silver blue are in production.

Legacy has delivery of FM's 1:24 1948 MG TC in “Silver Streak Iridescent”. See Tony's pix: "Blend in the red interior for terrific contrast along with matching red grill inset and boot and top it off with a black convertible top." Dashing!

LAST FEW LEFT OF FRANKLIN MINT DISCONTINUED MODELS AT LEGACY MOTORS
Legacy Motors has one, two or three left of the following items that have been discontinued by Franklin Mint.

The following models are no longer in production at Franklin Mint, and are sold out at Franklin Mint. Legacy Motors has one, two or three of these.

DIECAST ZONE ANNOUNCES ITS DIECAST HALL OF FAME!
It is with pleasure that the Diecast Zone announces its Diecast Scale Model Hall of Fame. Our aim is to honor those who have made exceptional and pioneering contributions to the development and popularity of scale model cars and related subjects.

In this first year, the Diecast Zone is inducting four members. We wanted to be sure to establish the level of achievement we had in mind in creating this hall of fame. Each of these first four took the scale model hobby and associated industry in important new directions. In future years, at most 2 can enter.

Qualified nominees may include entrepreneurs, designers, inventors, publishers and collectors. Election will be made by 10 individuals invited each year representative of these same groups. Nominations are solicited beginning in June of each year.
